1DCutX supports any version of Microsoft Excel (including Microsoft 365).
You can freely download 1DCutX and use it on your PC for a trial period of 15 days. The trial version is a fully-functional version with the
following restriction:
When 15-days trial period expires the calculation function will be locked. To unlock it you should purchase a license key from us.
1. Download 1DCutX.zip to your computer.
1.1. If you use 64-bit edition of Excel then you need to download 1DCutX_64.zip to your computer.
Warning: 64-bit version of 1DCutX will NOT work on Excel 2003, 2007 and 32-bit edition of Excel 2010 and up.
Therefore you must download and install the right version of 1DCutX.
2. Unzip the files and folders from the 1DCutX.zip (or 1DCutX_64.zip) to your computer.
3. Close the Microsoft Excel if it’s running.
4. You must be logged in as a computer administrator.
5. Right mouse click on setup.exe and select Run as administrator.
Note: If you don’t have option Run as administrator you can just double click on setup.exe or select Open.
However some antivirus software can block 1DCutX from running if you installed it as regular user.
6. Proceed with the installation.
7. Run Microsoft Excel.
8. Start 1DCutX in Microsoft Excel.
8a. Microsoft Excel 2003:
1. Select "Tools..." in the main menu.
2. Click on the "Length (1D) Cutting Optimization..." menu item as shown on the picture.
8b. Microsoft Excel 2007-2016 (32 bit):
1. Select "Add-Ins" in the main menu.
2. Click on the "Length (1D) Cutting Optimization..." ribbon element as shown on the picture.
8c. Microsoft Excel 2010-2016 (64 bit):
1. Select "Add-Ins" in the main menu.
2. Click on the "1DCutX - Linear Cut Optimizer" ribbon element as shown on the picture.
